What is chiropractic care?
Chiropractic care is a non-invasive, natural, drug-free approach to helping with different neuromuscular conditions. Your neck, back, arms, and legs can all benefit. Headaches can be relieved through chiropractic, too!
The goal is to restore spinal alignment and help your nerve system function properly. “I like to say we are “opening the lines of communication” in your nerve system to help the body regain optimal health!”
Once I go to a chiropractor, will I always have to go?
Chiropractic care is a little like dentistry – do you plan to take care of your teeth the rest of your life? Of course you do, and your spine needs the same attention. A little maintenance goes a long way. Once you get your spine back to its proper position and have your nerve system function properly, you’re not going to want the stress to come back. The choice to continue is always up to you.
Can chiropractic cure everything?
It’s important to understand that chiropractic doesn’t cure anything. It allows your body to heal itself when there is no interference along the nerve system. Interference occurs when the spine is out of alignment. It’s really your body’s response to care that does the healing and helps you get better.
Do you accept insurance?
We do accept most insurance. Give us a call and we can talk with you about your particular situation. Even if you have no insurance, we’ll work with you to make it affordable. We also offer payment plans. We’ll work with you to get you the care you need.
Do I need a referral?
Typically there is no referral needed to see a chiropractor, since we are considered a primary care provider. That means you can seek direct access to a doctor of chiropractic without a referral. It is very rare for insurers to require referrals for chiropractic anymore however if you have a particular question about your insurance please contact our office.
Is chiropractic safe? What about during pregnancy?
YES, research continues to support the safety and efficacy of chiropractic treatment. Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest, non surgical, drug free therapies available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. This places chiropractic among the safest of all health care practices.
If your pregnant, chiropractic is safe for both mother and fetus. Our gentle treatments often help reduce common pregnancy aches and pains. During pregnancy the body changes rapidly placing a significant amount of stress on the musculoskeletal system. The body often compensates resulting in many different types of joint and muscle pains. Dr. Soliman enjoys working with patients during their pregnancy. She has gentle techniques that will help keep you comfortable during all stages of your pregnancy.
Can children benefit from chiropractic care?
YES, as we all know children are very physically active and experience many type of falls, spills, and physical traumas during their developing years. Many spinal misalignments can be caused from the simple falls during toddler years when learning to walk to the accumulation of many physical stresses during sports and day to day activities as they get older. Regular chiropractic checkups can identify misalignments of the spine and making the correction early in life can help avoid many of the health complaints seen in later adult years. Dr. Soliman loves working with children. She a very gentle touch and will treat you children with the utmost care.
Can someone who has had back surgery see a chiropractor?
Yes, depending on the patient and the surgery. We work with techniques that are gentle and have gotten great results. “I’ve worked with many post-surgical patients and have helped them regain improved function in their neck and back!”
